No, we do not offer boarding services. The goal of B PAWSitive is to take away anxieties and worries that surround leaving your pets - anxieties that easily surface when it comes to boarding facilities. We offer our services in the comfort of your own home so you and your four-legged friends feel secure.
We offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggie adventures, and overnight pet care.

We have different time blocks available for service request depending on your schedule. The visits can last anywhere between 30 minutes to multiple hours to an overnight stay. Refer to the Services page in the drop down to view our full list of services and prices. Please contact us with any inquiries you may have on timing.
As we do not guarantee the same sitter for every visit, we also do not schedule meet and greets between sitters and the owners. We do thorough background checks before hiring and have them complete extensive training once they are onboarded to our team. Our founder, Brooklynn Smith, personally does all meet and greets prior to services in order to best prepare our staff with the details they need, and then your pet will get to meet everyone on our team over time.
We do our best to keep the same sitter for a majority of the visits in order to build a relationship with your animals, however we are limited by sitter availability.
Our sitters will send arrival and departure notifications through the software system we use, along with any notes on the visit and plenty of photos of your furry loved ones for you to enjoy.
We charge all of our clients through the software system we use for booking. Invoices are sent after each requested visit is completed and are due within 24 hours of completion.
The sitter will enter your house through specific instructions left for them. We request two forms of entry whether they be a code or key to enter the house through the garage, front or back door. Your information does not get shared with anyone not involved with directly sitting your pets. Keys will also remain on-site in a lock box on your property that only you and your sitter have access to.

We ask that you give us one week's notice for dog walks, drop-in visits, or doggie adventures and 4-12 weeks for overnights. We take requests up to a year in advance.
We understand that things come up last minute and will do our best to accommodate last minute booking requests.
Email us through the Contact page with your name, number, email, and situation (pets, dates, details) and we will get back to you within 48 hours. If we accept your booking request, we will schedule an initial phone call to better understand your needs followed up by an in-person meet and greet to establish that it's a good fit for you, your animals, and us. From there, we will create a schedule that best matches the needs of your companions and set you up on our software system with a detailed profile.
Yes we do! Email us requesting to book a service and we will be happy to provide you with a complimentary quote and a meet and greet.
B PAWSitive Pet sitters use positive reinforcement with the pets in their trust. We will never hit, spank, or slap your companions. Our staff will keep you informed and work together with you if there's is a disciplinary issue, such as running away or leash training.
Before every visit, we make sure the sitter is familiar with where cleaning supplies and the waste bin are in the house. If the mess is inside the house, it is within our job description to clean up after your furry friends. If the waste is in the yard, we ask prior to the scheduled visits if you request us to clean that up as well. We are happy to do so.
Sunday nights through Wednesday nights, we have recurring clients the following mornings and cannot stay beyond 12 hours consecutively.
On the weekends (Thursday night - Saturday night), we only take specific drop-in visits and don't schedule any recurring clients. Meaning that our sitters can spend time during the following morning with your animals as we don't have recurring clients to get to. This makes overnights falling on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night 16 hours.
Given that we take regular clients and have many visits to schedule into our days, we must charge in order for us to include your animals in a drop-in time slot that covers our time and cost of gas.
If we notice there's a lack of food or supplies, we will inform you and inquire about potential backup storage. If there is none, we will be elated to make a trip to the store for your animals with additional gas and purchase fee/reimbursement. We will do our best to find the same products they currently use.
The sitter will be trained to deal with any emergency that may arise. Our staff is First Aid certified and will follow any specific instructions given to them by the owner. If none are given, we will do our best to contact you along with the emergency contact list you have provided. If further action must be taken, we will refer to the Veterinary Release Form you have signed and take your pets to the chosen veterinary clinic.
When you schedule pet sitting visits, we have reserved those times for your visits and may have turned other people down to allow time for your animals. We do not charge our clients until the service is completed. However, if the scheduled trip ends early without proper week or month cancellation notice for your overnight pet care service, there will be a 50% fee for the portion of our services that were canceled.
In terms of extending our services if your trip gets lengthened, we will do our best to accommodate, but we cannot promise our sitters are not booked elsewhere already. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
We encourage our clients to reward their sitter if they exceeded their expectations and completed the job in a well fashioned manner. Please leave the tip directly with them. You may also send the tip through our payment software with your sitter's name and we will ensure it gets to them. Thank you for your kindness!
We run 365 days a year by reservation only. Please contact us with a booking request if you wish to schedule services. We offer regular drop-ins and walks Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. On weekends (Friday-Sunday), we only take one-time clients, emergency requests, doggie adventures, or vacation/work trip visits.
If you require a service outside of the listed business hours, please contact us to inquire about availability. Overnight Pet Care is available every night of the week Sunday - Saturday.
In order to ensure our team receives a bonus for working a holiday while others celebrate, there is a surcharge on all services booked on a holiday or during specific seasonal dates. The holidays B PAWSitive Pet Sitting observes are Martin Luthur King Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
The seasonal dates that include the same surcharge are Thanksgiving week (Wed-Sun) and December 15th - December 31st.
For walks and drop-ins, there's a $10 surcharge for 30-minute to 1-hour drop-ins for all holidays and a $5 surcharge for the seasonal dates excluding the holiday itself. Every added hour will be another $5 or $10. For overnights, there is an additional charge of $25 a night. If stacking drop-ins with overnights, both charges apply.
B PAWSitive is covered by Pet Sitters Associates for a bonding, property damage, house sitting, and expanded pet care insurance policy, meaning both B PAWSitive Pet Sitting and you are protected in the event that anything were to happen. If you'd like us to provide proof of insurance, we would be glad to oblige. Please send us a request through the Contact page or contact the association at info@petsitllc.com.
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. B PAWSitive Pet Sitting is committed to keeping your information secure. We will not disclose any personal information, nor will we sell it to any third party. In addition, any home, pet, or key information is kept in secure locations and will not be shared with any individual other than the parties involved in sitting your pets.
We do not charge our clients until a service is fully completed. However, we reserve the full right to charge the initially agreed-upon amount if there is a cancellation that goes against our listed Cancellation Policy. Find our Cancellation Policy under the Policies tab in the drop down.
Deposits on lockboxes will be refunded if services end and the lockbox is returned to B PAWSitive Pet Sitting.

If you need to cancel your overnight, please give us one week's notice before the first night of the scheduled stay if it's a non-holiday daily/vacation visit, and one month's notice from the date of the first scheduled visit if the overnight falls upon a holiday. If a scheduled trip ends early without proper week or month cancellation notice for overnight pet care, there will be a 50% fee for the portion of our services that were canceled.
THERE WILL BE A CHARGE OF 100% INCLUDING SURCHARGES FOR DROP-INS, WALKS, AND DOGGIE ADVENTURES WHEN NOT CANCELED 24 HOURS PRIOR TO IF SERVICE IS ON A REGULAR CALENDAR DAY OR ONE WEEK IF SERVICES FALL ON A HOLIDAY OR SEASONAL DATE.
FOR REGULAR OVERNIGHTS AND HOUSE SITTING, THERE IS A FEE OF 50% (INCLUDING SURCHARGES) OF THE TOTAL COST OF EACH REQUESTED NIGHT IF NOT CANCELED 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST REQUESTED NIGHT. IF OVERNIGHT FALLS ON A HOLIDAY OR SEASONAL DATE, THE 50% FEE WILL APPLY IF NOT CANCELED ONE MONTH IN ADVANCE OF THE FIRST REQUESTED NIGHT.

If a holiday or seasonal date overnight is canceled with less than one month's notice, there is a 50% fee including the surcharge. If drop-ins, walks, or doggie adventures fall on a holiday or seasonal date and are not canceled one week in advance, there is a 100% fee including the surcharge.
There is no limit on how much love we have for your animals. If you're skeptical about the size of your pet, please contact us and we will be overjoyed to cater our services to them.
We are happy to assist in the tending of your animal, no matter the breed. All we ask is that you check with your city's code to ensure the breed is legal to home. If you believe your dog is aggressive, please contact us and we will evaluate the situation to see if it's something that is a safe and promising fit for both you and our sitters.
We have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, reptiles, amphibians, fish and more. Contact us with the type of critters you have and we'll be glad to offer our services.
Our insurance policy provides coverage for the caring of all domestic pets, including dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds, fish, etc. The PSA program policy also provides coverage for the caring of horses and other "farm animals" as long as they are considered pets and are not intended for farm use. For example, the policy would provide coverage for caring for a pet goat, but it would not provide coverage for a cow meant for slaughter or chickens used for eggs.
To ensure your animals get the most attentive service, we try to limit each sitter to Walking no more than two dogs at once. If you have more than two, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.
In terms of a simple drop-in visit or overnight pet care, we have no limit.
There is no limit behind how many consecutive overnights our sitters can do; it's based on sitter availability.
If your animal requires medication, we can confidently administer it to them abiding by the specific instructions left in the Medication Authorization Form.
If you believe your dog is aggressive or has anxiety, please contact us and we will evaluate the situation to see if it's something that is a safe and promising fit for both you and our sitters.
We can do up to 4 drop-ins or walks a day per client. Beyond that, we recommend you book our overnight service. If you feel as though your animals need more than four visits, please contact us and we will seek to best modify our services to pertain to your needs.
