Privacy Policy

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us. B PAWSitive Pet Sitting is committed to keeping your information secure. We will not disclose any personal information, nor will we sell it to any third party. In addition, any home, pet, or key information is kept in protected locations and will not be shared with any individual other than the parties involved in sitting your pets.  

From you, we obtain either a code or key to enter the house, whether it be through the garage, front or back door. We require two forms of entry in case one fails. Your information does not get shared with anyone who isn't involved directly with caring for your pets. Keys will also remain on-site, in a lockbox on your property that only you and your sitter have access to. We request that no one except for the sitter uses the key to guarantee its security. There is a Key Handling Agreement all clients sign to demonstrate acceptance of our Key Policy.  

In order to ensure our team receives a bonus for working a holiday while others celebrate, there is a surcharge on all services booked on a holiday or during specific seasonal dates. The holidays B PAWSitive Pet Sitting observes are Martin Luthur King Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The seasonal dates that include a surcharge are Thanksgiving week (Wed-Sun) and December 15th - December 31st.

For walks and drop-ins, there's a $10 surcharge for 20-minute to 1-hour drop-ins for all holidays and a $5 surcharge for the seasonal dates excluding the holiday itself. Every added hour will be another $5 or $10. For overnights, there is an additional charge of $25 a night. If stacking drop-ins with overnights, both charges apply.

If a holiday or seasonal date travel request is canceled with less than one month's notice, there is a 50% fee including the surcharge. The services falling specifically on the holiday will be charged at 100% including the surcharge. If in-town requests fall on a holiday or seasonal date and are not canceled one week in advance, there is a 100% fee including the surcharge. 

B PAWSitive Pet Sitting LLC reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visits for in-town services including dog walks, drop-ins, or Doggie Adventures canceled with less than 24 hours' notice before the visit if it's a non-holiday/seasonal date and one week (7 days or 168 hours) notice if the visit falls upon a holiday or seasonal date. An in-town request is a service provided while you are still in town such as, but not limited to, being at your place of work.

If a travel request falls on a holiday or seasonal date recognized by B PAWSitive Pet Sitting LLC, the visit must be canceled at least one month in advance of the date the first requested visit falls upon or there will be a fee of 50% of the total cost of each requested service including the surcharges. 

If the travel request doesn’t fall upon a holiday or seasonal date, the 50% fee will apply if the service is not canceled 7 days (168 hours) prior to the first scheduled visit. 

A travel request is a request for services for the duration of a trip such as, but not limited to, you staying up in Tahoe for the weekend. Overnights, house sitting, dog walks, drop-ins, and Doggie Adventures are all subject to this policy when scheduled for dates you will be traveling on. Holiday Surcharges and any visits falling upon a holiday will be charged at 100%, not 50%.

If a scheduled trip ends early or the return date is changed without a proper week (non-holiday) or month (trip falls on a holiday) cancellation notice for a travel request service, there will be a 50% fee for the portion of our services that were canceled. Holiday Surcharges and any visits falling upon a holiday will be charged at 100%, not 50%.

We understand that things come up last minute and will do our best to accommodate last-minute cancellation requests. 

We do not charge our clients until the service is fully completed. However, we reserve the full right to charge the initially agreed-upon amount if there is a cancellation that goes against our listed Cancellation Policy. 

If the pet is allowed in the backyard, there must be a visible, above-ground fence securing the animals on the owner’s private property. In order to take your dog on a leashed walk, all dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations and/or have a valid Titers test to confirm your dog is protected from potential viruses lurking outside. All dogs must be reasonably well-trained to walk comfortably on a leash and without signs of aggression.
